Political Zionism, the Meaning of Jewishness, and Clearing the Confusion
Most Christians have never been given a clear, biblically grounded answer to one of the most charged questions in modern theology: what does it mean to be Jewish?
Not the political answer. Not the Orthodox rabbinical answer. The Bible's answer.
And the reason so few teachers have gone there is that the moment someone starts asking honest questions about political Zionism or the definition of Jewishness, they get labeled anti-Semitic, as if questioning a political movement is the same as hating a people group. It is not. And the conflation is intentional.
In this episode of Discovering Truth with Dan Duval, Dan walks through one of the most clarifying, and for many, one of the most disorienting, teachings in the ongoing Exposing Kabbalah series. This is Part 6. If you haven't been following along, you'll still get a lot out of this, but the full series at bridemovement.com/church gives you the foundation.
What the Bible Actually Says About Who Is a Jew
The confusion starts with words. The same word, "Jew," is being used by God in Scripture, by Orthodox rabbis, by Ashkenazi political Zionists, and by diaspora communities in India, Ethiopia, and China to mean four completely different things. Nobody defines it before speaking, so nobody is really talking to each other.
Dan starts with the Bible's own definition, and it's not what most people expect.
Romans 2:28-29 says plainly: "He is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; but he is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter." That's not a metaphor. That is God's definitional statement about who qualifies as a Jew in His eyes.
Dan then takes the listener through the history of the twelve tribes. How the northern kingdom was scattered by Assyria in 722 BC, how the southern kingdom (Judah, the Levites, and part of Benjamin) became what we know as "the Jews," and how Jesus, in his own person, fulfills both the house of Israel and the house of Judah in Jeremiah 31. The New Covenant was not postponed. It was accomplished, in Jesus.
What Is Jewishness, and Why Do So Many Christians Get This Wrong?
This is where Kabbalah enters the picture, and it's not subtle.
Dispensationalism, the interpretive framework that teaches the church is a "parenthesis" in God's real plan for genetic Israel, did not originate in the Bible. Dan shows the documented history: the Scofield Reference Bible, the primary vehicle for dispensational theology, was funded and promoted by high-level Zionist bankers including Jacob Schiff, Samuel Gompers, and Bernard Baruch, all connected to the same Illuminati networks that also promoted Kabbalistic mysticism. The Scofield Bible went into seminaries. Seminarians taught it as orthodoxy. And for the last century, the church has been praying for a geopolitical agenda it didn't author.
This is not a conspiracy theory. Dan cites Albert Pike's documented 1871 letter outlining the engineering of World War I and World War II, with the explicit goal of establishing a Zionist state in Palestine as a seat for their coming world order, and using the deceived church's prayers to fuel it.
What Does Romans 11 Actually Teach?
Romans 11 is often cited to argue that Jews have a special covenant track outside of Jesus. Dan addresses this head-on, and the text simply does not support that reading.
Believing Gentiles are grafted into Jesus, who is the cultivated olive tree. Unbelieving Jews were broken off. If they turn to Jesus, they are grafted in again. The mechanism is identical for both groups: faith in Yeshua as Messiah. There is no second track. There is no separate covenant for genetic lineage.
What Dan does acknowledge is that Revelation 7 describes a specific sealed group from the twelve tribes, something God is doing that Dan says honestly: "I don't fully know what this is." That humility matters. He is not collapsing every Old Testament passage into blanket replacement theology. He is insisting that the answer to that mystery is not political Zionism.
Why This Teaching Matters Right Now
The body of Christ has been hoodwinked. That's Dan's word, and it fits. When Christians mobilize prayer and financial support behind a geopolitical state engineered by the same occult networks running satanic ritual abuse and government mind control programs, that is a spiritual emergency, not a doctrinal footnote.
Bride Movement has spent over a decade working with survivors of these systems. The connections are not theoretical. Dan teaches this not to create controversy but because the confusion is actively harming people, keeping them from understanding who they are in Christ, what the kingdom of God actually is, and why it's here now, not postponed.
The kingdom of God is not a future event waiting for genetic Israel to get back on track. Jesus said it plainly in Luke 17:21: "the kingdom of God is within you and among you." You cannot postpone something that is already inside people.
